SYNERGY depicts an open-plan office at 4:47 p.m. on a Friday. Half the monitors are on screensaver. One headset hangs off the edge of a monitor. A motivational banner — not this one — is partially obscured by a cardboard box that was never unpacked after the last move.
Unmotivators Inc. considers this our most complete work of documentary photography. Nothing was staged. Nothing was moved. The box is still there.
Ideal for: open-plan offices, hot-desk environments, any space that underwent a seating redesign to encourage collaboration and achieved the opposite.
