PATIENCE is a photograph of a waiting room — the kind attached to a medical office or a government agency. Chairs line two walls. A small table holds three magazines, all at least two years old. The overhead lighting is fluorescent. Nobody is in the chairs.

Unmotivators Inc. has sourced this image from our Waiting series, a body of work that honors the underappreciated skill of staying in a place when nothing is happening. It is more difficult than it appears.
